What To Expect

Your Recovery Journey Starts Here Upon each patient’s arrival, our intake professionals perform a thorough evaluation to identify their care needs and design the most effective treatment plan. We begin the clinical treatment process with medical detox followed by a customized course of rehabilitation, which incorporates specialized therapies, group therapy and individual counseling. Our all-inclusive treatment experience is a departure from many other facilities that are unable to offer detox and rehab in the same program. Following residential treatment, our therapists and discharge professionals work with patients to develop an aftercare plan that utilizes the lessons they learned in treatment. This also includes referral to AA meetings close to patients’ homes and the development of self-diagnostic exercises to mitigate relapse. Treatment can last up to ninety days, depending upon patients’ progress and therapist recommendations. Rehab also incorporates behavior modification to help patients identify what thought patterns lead to substance abuse, and, if applicable a Family Program that educates patients’ loved ones on the recovery process and how they can help their family sustain sobriety. Our care philosophy is based heavily off the 12-step model with a belief that addiction or substance abuse is usually the product of deeper-rooted mental illness. When patients complete their treatment, they do so with the ability to adequately manage stress and adversity in their lives without having to resort to drugs or alcohol.
